iDTGV

We can deal with the "iDTGV", a new and trendy solution to travel. The most striking point about iDTGV is that everything is done by the customer thanks to the Internet. The value chain is very short when you use the iDTGV. Indeed, the SNCF suggests to the customers printing themself (via Internet only) their train tickets to travel. Furthermore, the iDTGV solution is a particular train. Indeed, it arranges various spaces to live new experiences, like iDzap, which is an enterntainment space (with DVD, video games etc...) and iDzen, which is a space of relaxation and rest.
I would like to insist on the name iDTGV. This name creates an impression of something new. The word ID means originality and modernity. Here, the e-culture is very present. The access to the train is possible only via Internet. So, it is necessary to have an opened mind. The spaces of the train address moreover technophiles and remain very innovative.
For a French company, this innovation is surprising. It's modern and aims trendy, young people. iDTGV appears to belong to the American cultur. It is new, modern and there is no paper because everything is done with electronic.
The idea is not nevertheless new, the companies "low coast" of planes already make it, but the concept is not so developped. Easyjet already uses that system. But iDTGV is all the more surprising than SNCF is a French, public company. This idea is a good one. If iDTGV is a success I hope other companies will follow the trend.
Weird website
During my intership last year I found a curious website called alandal. This is a website created by two young English artists. They are musician and have decide to create an original website with a blue screen. At the first sight it looks like a very nice site. But when you use it you note that a lot of animations do not work. It is quite a disappointment. This website would have been nice but it gives a feeling of something under construction.
